Whats New with us

Well it was over a year ago we went to China to start a new school there. We could not post to our blog while there. The Gvt has it blocked as well as facebook, twitter etc.

We did start the school and made 4 disciples from the group of students we had. It was a long year with trials and tribulations. The fruit of 3 new believers and 4 disciples was well worth the time, money and troubles. If you helped by praying or financial support you share in the harvest and the Joy of our father.

Since our return i have begun a new work. To put the Chinese bible into a one year, chronological order for the building up and equipping the church there (Eph 4:11-12).

Also we are beginning a new ministry called "Life Training Institute China". It will be run through Calvary Chapel Gainesville (FL). We will be filing for our corporation soon and then applying for the IRS's 501c3 status for tax deduction purposes.

Well we have 2 weeks till blastoff. God provided a tenant for our condo. We are continuing to pack and give away things. Praying for support for the students monthly expense of $90 each X 8. Praying for the apartment they will live, study and praise God in. Help them by praying for them. Hank

April fools day is past but fools are still believing the lie that Jesus isn't the only way.

We are packing and purging our lives of all the worldly things we really don’t need. It has not been easy. Pray that we take only the things He would want us to have in China and that the enemy has no hold on us through physical possessions.

We need prayer for the move to China.

Busy Cleaning House

We are both busy purging our apartment of things we love but don't need. We sold our 42" LCD TV to fund our trip. I sold my Surfboard too :-( A lamp went today. We still have a Tiffany bowl, some guns, artificial plants ( I kill real ones, hehe) entertainment center, antique chairs, rollerblades, skates, jewelry etc. We are serious about China and pray that things will sell, other donations will come in and that God will do what only He can do. That He open doors for me to speak and share the vision. That He be Glorified.

Just one more thing done but a lot to do. Working on prayer support. Trying to book the chepest flight. So far we are looking at 4 to 4.5 thousand for the 3 of us. Please pray for low fares to come our way.

Hello today, We are excited to go to China again. This time we have a specific ministry goal, to start a mini-bible college. We are in need of your prayers and support.

We need prayer for the following:

That our 2/2 furnished condo in Pompano Beach will rent.
That we can raise enough support to go in March or April
For my new Passport to come soon.
For our visa's to China
That all the loose ends will come together before we leave.

To enter God’s kingdom, you must be born again. Just look to Jesus Christ, who died for your sins on the cross, and believe in Him and His love for you, and that transformation will take place. Thus the question, "Have you been born again by the Spirit of God?" If not, the process is very simple.
Today you’re in one of two camps; it all depends on your relationship to Jesus Christ. You can both believe and look in faith to Jesus, who died for you on the cross; or you can continue going on as you are. It’s an amazing thing—to be lost; you don’t have to do anything. Just keep on doing what you’re doing now and you will perish.
But, if you look to the cross and believe in the One who died for your sins, then the free gift of God is yours... The gift of eternal life.
The Bible says:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God—Romans 3:23
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out—Acts 3:19
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life—John 3:16
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved—Romans 10:9
If you want a personal relationship with God and the assurance that your sins have been forgiven, here is a suggested prayer...
Father, I come to you, confessing my sin and asking for your forgiveness. I thank you, Lord, for You have promised that if I will confess my sins, You will be faithful to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I want to turn from my sins, and live in a way that will please You. And so I ask for your help, Lord. I ask that you give me the power through your Holy Spirit to live the right way.
I thank you that Jesus Christ died on the cross, paying the price for my sins, and then rose from the dead. I accept Him now as my Savior, my Lord, and my friend.
I also thank You, because You've said that whoever comes to You, You will in no way cast out. Thank you for giving me a new life in Christ. I surrender myself to you. Make me what you want me to be in Jesus' name. Amen.
What Next?
If you have decided to accept Jesus Christ as your savior, you are now born again. Here are a few things that will help you to grow as a Christian...
PRAY—prayer is like a telephone line that goes directly to God. It's important to spend time talking to Him every day, the more the better (Philippians 4:6).
READ THE BIBLE—the Bible is like a love letter from God. The more you read it, the more you'll fall in love with Him (1 Peter 2:2).
FELLOWSHIP—you need to have friends who share your beliefs and who can encourage you. This is why it's so important to find a good, Bible-believing church where you can meet other Christians (Hebrews 10:24-25).
WITNESS TO OTHERS—share your faith in Jesus Christ with others. Pray that the Lord will reveal how you should witness and when (Mark 16:15).

I heard the call for China 11years ago. I have prayed that God would provide an opportunity to teach and train Church worker and leaders. In November of last year I went on a "Scouting Trip" and was drawn in by the hunger for God, His Word and eagerness to learn about leadership. I know this is where I belong. In China helping equip those who are call to serve Him. We are preparing to go soon. Hope to see how God will assist us in going. We have a lot of logistical things to solve. Money issues are also on our prayer list. A place is being prepared for us there. We will have to repay our friends for the costs they are incurring.

Go – Go to China and teach a mini Bible school for one year. The Chinese church seeks mature Christians to live in China, teaching the Bible in English to a group of eager students. This is a great opportunity to be involved in pure discipleship, pouring life into an intimate group of hungry believers. House church leaders are already prepared to send students from all around China to form these mini Bible schools.
Equipping young church leaders in basics of Christian faith by studying the Bible, these students live together in apartments that house 6-10 people, taught daily by their teacher in English. A translator is provided for these classes.

Who is qualified to go? ANYONE well grounded in the Scriptures, understanding the principles of inductive Bible study and verse-by-verse exposition. Formal education in teaching the Bible is not required. Basics are easily learned, and the Lord equips those He calls!
Applications for this ministry in China are now being prepared. PRAY about joining this scouting party. Remember Joshua & Caleb!

Vision
Back To Jerusalem (B2J) is a vision that motivates the Chinese house church movement. The name unfortunately leads a lot of people to believe that it’s about evangelizing Jerusalem or Israel. That’s not the case at all. When the Chinese say “Back to Jerusalem,” they’re referring to a geographical advance of the gospel throughout history. The gospel started in Jerusalem and then spread in a generally westward direction into North Africa and Europe. It has continued to spread westward around the globe, with China as its farthest advance. The church in China sees their opportunity to do their part in encircling the whole globe with the gospel, passing through strongholds of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam located in countries between China and Israel. Along the old Silk Road, a trade route established from the Middle East to China, there are approximately 5,200 unreached people groups and tribes.
Village by village, city by city, the Chinese church wants to conquer these nations for Jesus Christ – BACK TO JERUSALEM. The baton is being passed to them. They want to run the race. They only ask for tools & training to accomplish the work!

That is why we are going, to give them the training to accomplish that for which they were called (Eph 4:11-16). We are all called to make disciples. I pray that you will partner and pray for us as we fulfill His Great Co-Mission (1 Cor 9:7-16).
